The Director, Canadian Reinsurance Operations is accountable for the management of Reinsurance Operations strategy, development and execution of plan s to meet the business needs for the increasing growth of reinsurance arrangements. These strategies will enhance process engineering and operational efficiency in order to manage risk and increase the organization’s effectiveness and ensure consistent high quality service delivery, while also delivering increased insight into all aspects of our reinsurance portfolio. Position Responsibilities: Strategic Thinking : Participate as part of the Group Reinsurance Management Team responsible for strategic planning and leadership; identify opportunities for the business to further its goals. Contribute to the strategic direction for the business, especially as it relates to Operations. Participate in key decisions on major projects and initiatives with business unit wide impact . People Leadership: Effectively use strong communication skills to translate Segment business strategy into workable plans/projects for Reinsurance Operations.
