Position Description: Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Metallurgical Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in process mining and metals. Responsibilities: The successful candidate will safely and efficiently perform: Assist in Metallurgical studies by executing sampling plans, preparing, and analyzing samples Maintain laboratory and analytical equipment used in the process facility Stocking of laboratory supplies Assists in reviewing new or enhanced Metallurgical testing equipment or protocols Develops and maintains an understanding of applicable programs, practices and existing/proposed local, State and Federal regulations applicable to area of assignment Logs samples into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and processes results into spreadsheets.
