Brief Description The Tailings & Heap Leach Manager will be responsible for overall management of 15 tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and 5 heap leach facilities (HLFs) at the Carlin Complex. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or related engineering degree or equivalent experience required. Knowledge of Tailings and Heap leach operations and construction required. Professional Engineer designation preferred. 10-15 years of experience in the mining or related industry preferred . Strong oral and written communication skills required. Ability to work in a team required. Responsibilities Manage the supporting TSF/HLF management site team including one superintendent and two support engineers. Fulfill the responsible tailings facility engineer (RTFE) role for the North Area facilities. Prepare and manage internal budgets and work plans required for TSF/HLF management. Maintain regular communication with qualified NGM site and corporate personnel for specialist review of geotechnical, hydrological, hydrogeological, and environmental issues.
