As a Business Architect, a typical day involves evaluating existing business processes to uncover opportunities that can enhance value for the organization. This role requires gathering and analyzing high-level requirements from various stakeholders and designing comprehensive business solutions that align with strategic goals. The Business Architect plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology capabilities, ensuring that transformation initiatives are well-supported through detailed business cases and effective guidance during implementation. Collaboration across multiple teams and continuous assessment of operating models are integral parts of daily activities to drive successful outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Lead workshops and discussions to refine business requirements and validate solution designs.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing knowledge and best practices to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Guidewire BillingCenter.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experience in translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable technology solutions.
- Ability to develop and present comprehensive business cases supporting transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Capability to guide and influence cross-functional teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Guidewire BillingCenter.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
