Hiring Unit: Student Housing & Hospitality Services Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Senior Maintenance Manager. Undertake building inspections and projects. Plan, prioritize and execute maintenance schedules and preventative maintenance contracts. Ensure that facilities are presentable and functional at all times. Confer with contractors and McGill staff in order to plan and co-ordinate manpower needs. Assess and resolve administrative problems. Oversee expenditures within Residence’s operating guidelines. Purchase supplies and monitor use of materials used in maintenance/repair operations. Coordinate maintenance with Redbourne and the Le Cite complex for infrastructure services.
