Associated with ECO 1104 B00 Course Code: ESL 2181 Section: E00 Course Description: Adjunct english as a second language course to a 3-unit discipline-specific course (ECO 1102), taken in English by non-native speakers of English. Emphasis on development of comprehension skills (listening and reading) while acquiring knowledge and expertise in the discipline. Examination questions in the discipline-specific course may be answered in either English or French; however, all tests and assignments in the language class must be done in English. It is required that the ESL Professor attend the following discipline-specific course in addition to the language course: ECO 1102 D00 Tuesday 4:00pm-5:20pm and Thursday 2:30pm-3:50pm - in person Note: Students may be enrolled in sections D00, E00, F00 and G00 of the ECO 1102 course.
