As the successful candidate you will join RBC Capital Markets’ Securities Lending and Borrowing Desk, an integral part of RBC’s Central Funding Group. You will be expected to act in the best interest of RBC Capital Markets and our clients. The position requires market awareness, sharp trading instincts, disciplined execution and partnership across various internal functional groups. What will you do? Borrow securities to cover firm and client short positions and meet regulatory obligations Process recalls in a timely manner Generate reporting for traders Reconcile trades with counterparties Optimize trading book for rate and collateral quality Respond to client borrow requests in a timely manner Interact with Prime Brokerage clients Interact with Central Funding and Capital Markets Partners What do you need to succeed?
