The Analyst, Business Line Controls supports the operational control framework within the Specialized Lending business line. This role is responsible for assisting in the execution of control activities, identifying and reporting operational risks, and supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulations. As part of the Strategy, Governance and Controls team, the Analyst contributes to the effectiveness of Manulife Bank’s first line of defense by maintaining accurate documentation, performing control testing, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Position Responsibilities: Lead the execution and documentation of regulatory and operational control procedures within the Specialized Lending business line. Complete the Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), including data gathering, analysis, and reporting. Complete control testing activities and identify gaps or areas for improvement. Collaborate with business partners to ensure controls are embedded in day-to-day processes and aligned with regulatory requirements.
