Job Title: Accountant Pay range: $70-80k per year Job Summary: Responsible for the completion of month end reporting from journal entries through to the financial statements. Provide various monthly reports, ensure fixed asset sub ledger is continually updated and prepare monthly reconciliations and assist in monthly variance analysis. Responsibility: Prepare all journal entries with complete back up in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all corporate deadlines are met regarding tax entry and sales matrix. Prepare financial statements, reconciliations and supporting reports in a timely manner. Prepare monthly income statements and other monthly reports in a timely manner. Assist in preparation of monthly variance analysis reporting. Prepare month end reconciliations in a timely manner. Ensure GL coding is accurate. Analyze and prepare monthly system generated accruals. Prepare all fixed asset schedules for year-end audit. Assist with the preparation of a twelve-month rolling forecast as required. Assist with preparation of annual budget and five-year business plan as required. Responsible for monitoring and reviewing the quarterly and annual payroll tax returns. Special projects
